A Step Above The Rest Dog Training

Can't say enough amazing things about Theresa. My lovable lunatic and I had some trouble meshing with previous trainers. I felt defeated and gave up, thus letting him rule the roost. After our first session, Hobbes and I were connecting the proper way and he loves to learn. Theresa doesn't make me feel like a fool, gives constructive feedback to me and lets me know what I'm doing right as well. I'd recommend A Step Above the Rest to anyone looking for an awesome learning/training experience. Already have!

Absolutely the best trainer I've ever encountered!! I drove 1800 miles to meet her and get help with my 2 Rotties. Definitely worth every mile to spend the time with her that we did. My babies are doing so well,and will continue to do so with their continuous training.

My family and I tried 3 dog trainers in our previous city before moving here and being lucky enough to meet Theresa. Theresa’s approach to training lies at that perfect middle ground of assertiveness and positivity. Her calm demeanor, perceptiveness of dog behavior and overall approach is what sets her apart from the other trainers I’ve met. She worked with our dog at 1.5 years old and he made major improvements with walking on leash and now being able to fly with us in cabin outside of a crate. The value she provided my family is priceless. Thank you, Theresa!
